Yoga is an ancient system of physical and meditative practices for integrating the practitioner's body, mind, and spirit. Yoga creates balance in the body and develops both strength and flexibility. This is done through the performance of asanas, i.e. poses or postures, each of which has specific physical benefits. The poses flow from one to another in conjunction with the breath (vinyasa). Movement vinyasa can be done more quickly to create heat in the body or more slowly to increase stamina and perfect the alignment of the pose. The poses are a constant, but the approach to them varies depending on the tradition in which the teacher has trained.

Soul Sweat Asana practice is a dynamic vinyasa flow which maximally challenges the body and mind while maintaining a sense of ease, joy, fun and freedom in the body. The emphasis is on efficiency, freedom, and ease of movement. The goal is to help you learn to love living in your body.
